The walk

Head east on Belvoir Lane from the green and cross the brick bridge over the River Devon. Follow the waymarked Jubilee Way along field edges to the Belvoir Castle entrance and car park (toilets there), then on past Belvoir Farm on a rough track to join the Grantham Canal towpath for about two and a half miles. Leave the canal at Woolsthorpe Wharf by the Dirty Duck and take the footpath back to the village.

Some road walking and multiple stiles; not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Kingfishers, herons and dragonflies along the canal.
