The Grantham Area Group of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust meets on a Friday evening once a month from October to April for illustrated talks on wildlife near and far, at St John’s Church Community Hall, Manthorpe, 7.30pm, finishing about 9.30pm with refreshments at the interval. Autumn 2026: 9 October — Canary Islands and Madeira, wildlife and geology (Gill Walsh); 13 November — A tour of Borneo (Geoff Evans); 11 December — The world of insects (Dr Graziella Iossa). £1.50 members, £2 non-members; no booking needed and you do not need to be a member.
