About

The park, garden and adventure playground are open every day, 9.30am to 5.30pm. Indoor play closes earlier, at 4.30pm. The shop opens 10am to 5pm and the Stables Café 9.30am to 5pm. Last entry to the estate is 30 minutes before the park closes, and that is also when the Lion Gates are locked. The house keeps its own hours and is not always fully open: on Tuesdays and Wednesdays it runs a conservation day with about a quarter of the rooms open. These are the October hours. From November the estate opens later and closes earlier — 10am to 4pm on both dates checked — and the house is closed. The National Trust publishes Belton’s hours a date at a time and they do vary, so check their page before setting out in winter. Belton may close at short notice in high winds or extreme weather.
